Crash Bandicoot Mobile, which has been available in soft-launch in selected territories for several weeks, appears to have been renamed. And it looks like it’s coming very soon.
While developer King hasn’t officially announced either a release date or a name change, the game’s official Twitter account, which is called Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, posted a teaser trailer yesterday. It looks to us as though an imminent launch is on the cards.
Crash Bandicoot: Mobile/On the Run is a 3D auto-runner along the lines of Minions Rush, Subway Surfers, Temple Run, and so on. It’s a tired format, but a perfect fit for the Crash Bandicoot franchise.
Along with the running sections there’s some base-building, weapon collecting, crop harvesting, and so on. It sounds like Crash with a dash of Clash (of Clans).
You can expect to see the game on Google Play Store fairly soon.
