MiHoYo, the developer behind the eye-poppingly popular gacha RPG Genshin Impact, has announced that it’s working on a “romance detective” game called Tears of Themis.
The gameplay will see you taking on the role of a female lawyer devoted to the pursuit of truth and justice through her firm Themis Law. That means questioning witnesses and suspects, conducting investigations, examining evidence, and so on. Basically, police work.
Assisting you are four male characters: Luke Pearce, Marius von Hagen, Vyn Richter, and Arten Wing. The “romance” portion of the game will see you cultivating your relationships with these potential suitors.
Tears of Themis will enter its initial global beta on May the 8th, with pre-registrations opening today. Head to the official site to put your name down for some graphically polished, vaguely Phoenix Wright/Ally McBeal-esque fun in the near future.
