Before you can start this challenge, you’ll need to make sure you visit the Winterfest Cabin and pick up the challenge. If you’re having issues with getting a new challenge, you’ll need to completely close out your game and reopen it. This may not be an issue for everyone, but when I visited the Cabin, the stocking was empty – so I had to reload my game.
Back to lighting fireworks in Fortnite, there are three different locations where you can find them. As you can see in the map below, you’ll find fireworks in Fortnite at the shoreline of Craggy Cliffs, Dirty Docks, and Sweaty Sands.
Unfortunately, the spawn locations seem to be random. Meaning you might visit one of the shorelines, but won’t find any fireworks there. If this happens, it’s best just to end the match and restart – as it’ll take a while to travel to one of the other shorelines and another player may have lit the firework already.
Additionally, if you don’t see any in the main area of the shoreline, keep exploring because sometimes they can be found off the beaten path. Thankfully, you’ll only need to light one firework for this challenge. So it shouldn’t prove to be too tricky once you’ve found a firework location.
