Pokemon Presents 2021: Everything Announced Including Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl



In celebration of Pokemon’s 25th anniversary, The Pokemon Company has announced some incredible news, including New Pokemon Snap. Here is each and every announcement!

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Remakes Announced


Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released for Nintendo Switch in late 2021. These are remakes of Ninendo DS’ Pokemon Diamond and Pearl from 2006.

Instead of being developed by Game Freak, these games are being made by ILCA Inc, who have also worked on Pokemon Home and have supported such titles as Nier Automata and Yakuza 0. However, original Pokemon Diamond and Pearl director Junichi Masuda will be directing these games alongside ILCA’s Yuichi Ueda.

Open-World Pokemon Legends: Arceus Announced for Early 2022

Taking place in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl’s Sinnoh Region’s feudal past, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is an open world take on Pokemon.

Set to be released in early 2022, Pokemon Legends: Arceus features a game world that is reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with Pokemon appearing all over.

Players will be creating Sinnoh’s first Pokedex, and features Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott as starter Pokemon.

New Pokemon Snap Gets a New Gameplay Trailer


New Pokemon Snap, which will be released on Nintendo Switch on April 30, 2021, got a new gameplay trailer. It also revealed new features, including tools, photo editing, and more.

These new tools can make Pokemon glow, change their elemental effects, and more.

25 Years of Pokemon Celebration

This Pokemon Presents began with a celebration and look back at the past of Pokemon. It is a wonderfully nostalgic look at everything Pokemon.
